Cheap Staple Food Bazaar Held in Kramat Jati Market for KJP Holder and PPSU

Jakarta Provincial Government held cheap staple food bazaar in Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta. This program was intended for Jakarta Pintar Card (KJP) holder, Public Facility and Infrastructure Handling (PPSU) personnel, PHL, and flat residents.

Rice, eggs, chicken meat, and beef are sold using non-cash system

Hundreds of citizen lined up on the third floor of Kramat Jati Market's management office. There are two EDC machines prepared to serve non-cash transaction. Citizen just need to give KJP and it will be inputted to EDC machine by personnel.

Kramat Jati Market Manager, Agus Lamun said, recently there are two commodities sold using non-cash system. There are medium quality rice per 5 kilograms sold Rp 30 thousand and 15 eggs (per tray) sold Rp 15 thousand. While for beef is sold Rp 35 thousand per kilogram and chicken Rp 8 thousand per head.

"Rice, eggs, chicken meat, and beef are sold using non-cash system," he said, Tuesday (5/30).

Diyah (43), one of Cililitan residents admitted it is really helpful to buy cheap staple foods using non-cash system. She just need to give her son's KJP and immediately receive staple food package.

"Of course this is really helpful, moreover the price is much cheaper than market price," she closed.
